Greetings,

My name is Otto. I study software engineering and develop open-source projects on my free-time. 

If you are not here from a job application, you probably know me from YAM Launcher, which is an Android home launcher that I developed. It's built around the concept of digital minimalism and implements this through its text-based interface that avoids distractions and focuses on pure functionality. It is separated from other minimalist launchers by its in-depth customization options and weather integration on the home screen.

I have of course created programs outside of Android, too, though these projects are more minor. You can find these on the "My Projects" tab. In addition, the "My Experiences" tab provides information on my history of work, volunteer experience, etc. If you wish to know about what I have done in my life, feel free to check that out as well.

For general programming, I prefer Python, though this is a pain for desktop applications that would normally be compiled. My text editor of choice is VSCodium. I also have experience with Java, which I have primarily used with Eclipse.

In addition, I am a big fan of the Godot game engine for game development and generally enjoy using open source tools wherever possible. 

As for my other hobbies, I enjoy walking outside, playing video games and photography among other things. I have really gotten into Geoguessr lately.
